Old people..... more like a RUDE people!

It is a tradition of the world to respect elderly people which I support 100% BUT why do they think because they have more than 50 years life experience that are entitled to jump the line???
Are they worried if they don't get to pay for the items now they may die not knowing how it feels like to indulge in that scrumptious spinach and eggplant, I mean what have you been doing for 50 years or more!!

I am a true believer that respect works both ways, when you in university your peers are not the same age as you, where in high school you know the students are max 1 year apart but this differs; One very productive day I had a workshop at a high school, where we had to educate these ignorant children about their constitutional right and have some fun activities. well when we got there a fellow peer of mine (she being about 40 odd) had so much to say about how we handled the children and criticized our method of discipline.

During this workshop she was no where to be found and when she was, she was sitting at the back and indulging in her phone, like a teenage girl, not helping one bit but criticizing more. This is when i put my foot down, age does not give you the authority to look down on people younger than you, nor does it give you the authority to demand respect from people younger. The truth is, there is no law obliging you to respect old people, if you want to implement tradition in this case, then I shall bring in the maxim of "if you want respect, you got to earn it"....

So when I see an old person jumping the line without permission, I will stop them and make it known that it was unethical and immoral and if they should pay for it immediately, than ask I'm sure my heart is not frozen because asking is a sign of respect and granting it, is a sign of receiving it and giving back. Please [old]people get your head out your ass!!!
